EDIT PROFILE

In case you change your address, telephone number and/or other contact information, please update the new information in your profile.

Log in to "MY PAGE" by typing in your JJFJ membership ID number and your password in right corner of the Main Page of the site.
Edit your information.
Click "Submit".

P.S.: You will not be able to edit your belt color and your academy in this page. In order to do that you will need to contact your current instructor and have him do the modification.

In order to update your belt color, you need to ask your instructor to contact JJFJ via email and send these information:

Academy name
Your full name (Student who needs to have his/her belt color changed)
New belt color
Date when new belt was given

Your belt color will be updated within 3 business days after the email is received.

In order to update your school information in case you change schools or leave your current school you need to:

To leave your current school:
All you need to do is ask your instructor to send the following information to JJFJ by email:

Name of academy your are leaving
Your full name.
Date you are leaving the school

To change schools:
Please ask your new instructor from your new school to contact JJFJ by email with the following information:

Name of the new academy
Your full name
Date of registration to the new academy

Your new information will be updated within 3 business days.

Attention: The period between you leave an academy and before you join another one, you file will be set as "no academy".
During that period, you will not be able to participate in any tournaments or events organized by JJFJ. Even if you still have your membership card.

Log in to "MY PAGE".
Change the "Type of Member" from "Basic" to "Gold".
Click "Submit"
Your new Gold membership card will arrive to your academy within 7 business days.

MEMBERS CARD REISSUE

In case your members card is lost or damaged, you will need to reissue your card.
You will be charged 1,080 yen for a new card. (Same price for basic and gold members.)

In order to reissue your card please email JJFJ with the following information.
・Full name
・Academy name
Payment method:
・To pay with your Credit Card, please click HERE.
・To pay via bank, please deposit the amount of 1,150 yen to:
Mizuho Bank, Kitazawa Branch
Normal Account (Futsu koza) : 1120500 JJFJ
Your new members card will arrive to your academy within 7 business days upon payment confirmation.

TERMINATION OF AFFILIATION

If you wish to terminate your membership with JJFJ, please send the following information by email to JJFJ:

Your membership ID number
Academy name
Your full name

Attention:

After terminating your membership, please cut your card in two and dispose to if.
In case you wish to join JJFJ again in the future, you will be charged 1,150 yen for your affiliation, as you will need a new card.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.	I am affiliated to another federation. Is there a problem for me to be affiliated with JJFJ at the same time?
A.	According to JJFJ, there is no problem in been affiliated to more than one federation at the same time.
Q.	Does JJFJ only accept affiliation of Gracie related academies?
A.	No. We accept any academy as along as it teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and follows our criteria for affiliation.
Q.	Are the JJFJ rules for championships different from other Jiu-Jitsu Championships' rules?
A.	Our rules are exactly the same as the rules from the International BJJ Federation. Therefore we have the same rules applied to the Pan American and the Mundial (World Jiu-Jitsu Championship).
Q.	In case I move out of the country, do I have to terminate my membership with JJFJ?
A.	If you plan in coming back, then there is no need for you to terminate your membership. All you will need to do is to change your contact information on your personal data.
